Alien Nosejob is released the epic Turns the Colour of Bad Shit on September 20, 2024, marking Jake Robertson’s seventh solo album under the project’s evolving sound. Coming off the back of their garage rock record The Derivative Sounds of…, and fresh from international tours and beachside downtime, the new album draws inspiration from late ’70s punk legends like J.T. IV, Elton Motello, and X-Ray Spex. 

Recorded in a weekend at a home studio, the album mixes hypnotic riffs, haunting sax, and sharp social commentary. Tracks like the eerie opener “Bird Strike” and the high-energy closer “Medical Treatment” showcase the album’s dynamic range.
