Brass Lancashire – Board Game
Brass: Lancashire tells the story of competing entrepreneurs in Lancashire and the surrounding area during England’s Industrial Revolution between 1770 and 1870. You must develop, build, and establish your industries and network to capitalize demand for iron, coal and cotton. The game is played over two halves: the canal and rail phases. To win the game, score the most victory points (VPs), which are counted at the end of each half. VPs are gained from your canals, rails, and established (flipped) industry tiles.
It features a deceptively straightforward rule set that creates interesting gameplay dynamics including a highly innovative variable turn order system and robust gift economy.
