Ifukube’s music skillfully combines booming brass and bass for Godzilla and Battra, while infusing a more ethereal sensibility for Mothra. The score’s standout is the enchanting “Sacred Springs” theme for Mothra, showcased in both minor and major modes, reaching a climax with a beautiful rendition by a female chorus.
