Located in Gryffindor Tower, through the Fat Lady’s portrait, the Gryffindor Common Room is a shared lounging area for Hogwarts’ Gryffindor House, often used to do homework and socialise with housemates. With both the boys’ and girls’ dormitories attached, spells are in place to prevent male students from entering the girls’ dorms, but interestingly, the spells don’t work the other way around.
