Formed in 1998 from the remains of the band Snowblind, the Australian group Motor Ace are an Alternative Rock group, borrowing elements from Post-grunge.

They released their Shoot This album in July 2002, which gained even more success than the previous album. It debuted at number 1 that year, eventually going gold. Two hits from the album, “Carry On” and “Keeping Secrets” reached the top 30 in the ARIAnet singles chart. The album gives off a big, full of gusto tone, with somewhat of an Oasis vibe. The backing strings pair nicely with the rockin’ guitar tones, blended with catchy pop elements that get your foot tappin’ to every song. It’s a quintissential part of Australian Alt Rock history and an absolute must for fans of Motor Ace!
